The Western Yacht Club Of Ireland

Based at the Kilrush Marina, Kilrush, Co Clare, the Western Yacht Club of Ireland is a traditional yacht club nestled in the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way and we welcome you to our website. Established in 1827, the club continues to this day to run yacht and dinghy sailing and racing events.These events are mainly based on the extensive waters of the Shannon Estuary.
We welcome all sailors to our Club and Marina, both to compete in our events and to cruise on the waters of the Shannon Estuary and the wonderful west coast of Ireland, along the Wild Atlantic Way

Memories

Being new to the area, I am so glad I joined the RWYC, it was a way of meeting so many people and making new friends. It also brought back memories from childhood and my love for the water.
