YACHTMASTER COURSES
Brendan Travers of West Coast Cruising School will be
running his Yachtmaster shorebased navigation courses (for the fourteenth successive year) in the Oak Wood Arms Hotel, Shannon, commencing early November, 2007.
Brendan has just returned from a six week cruise in his 24ft gaffer SEOIDIN explorng the areas now covered by the ISA practice charts, namely the Irish Sea, Isle of Man and adjacent Scottish and Welsh coasts. The second practice chart covers the West Cork coastline.
This year the courses will be both YM Coastal and YM Offshore evels, both of which are more than adequate preparation for the International Certificate of Competence assessment.

The set up on the boat at present means I can solo sail, which is what I do most, I have sailed Zoom in a F5 on my own."
