Central Sports Trophy September Junior Dinghy Series 2024
The Central Sports Trophy September Junior Dinghy Series will take place over five Sundays in September, weather permitting.
It is proposed to have at least two races each week and racing will take place in Kilrush Marina or in the Shannon Estuary. The competition is open to privately owned boats and club boats are also available to rent. Races will consist of a mix of windward-leeward and triangular courses. Briefing will take place at clubhouse at 1300 hrs each Sunday and races will start by 1400 hrs.
Places are strictly limited in each class.
Entry fee for members is €40 per junior sailor using a club boat and €30 per junior sailor using a privately owned boat. Visitors are welcome, entry fee is €40.
Scoring will be done under the Portsmouth Yardstick (PY) handicap scheme.
